Burns management

Mr Markeson is a substantive NHS consultant at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, a world renowned centre for the management of burns. Here, he manages acute burns as well as the late sequelae such as scarring and contractures. In addition to lecturing on burns internationally he is an educational supervisor for London trainees and has received numerous awards and accolades for his teaching emphasising his high levels of experience and knowledge.

• Debridement of acute burns and split skin grafting.

• Meek grafting.

• Dermal scaffolds including Matriderm®, Integra® and BTM®.

• A wide range of dressings including epidermal substitutes such as Biobrane®, Suprathel® and Epiprotect®
